About the eTS5 Total Station.
The eSurvey eTS5 is a high-precision manual total station with 2-arc-second angular accuracy, the comfortable, efficiency-focused mid-range option in the eTS line. It adds dual QVGA colour screens, an LED-backlit keyboard for working after dark, a trigger key with guide light for instant measurement, and friction-free endless drives so the operator never locks a shaft by hand.
A large 3,400 mAh battery gives long runtime. It is offered as the eTS5 with a laser plummet for fast everyday centring, and the eTS5V with an optical plummet for bright-sunlight conditions where a laser spot is hard to see.

2-arc-second accuracy
An absolute-encoder system delivers 2-arc-second angular accuracy for the full range of survey and setting-out tasks.
Dual colour screens
Two 240 x 320 colour displays, one per face, with an icon-based menu make reading and operation easier on both faces.
Endless drives and trigger key
Endless tangent drives remove manual shaft locking, while a trigger key and guide light give instant measurement and stakeout.
LED-backlit keyboard
A backlit alphanumeric keyboard, 28 keys per face, keeps the instrument usable in low light and at night.
Choice of plummet
The eTS5 ships with a laser plummet for fast centring, the eTS5V with a 3x optical plummet preferred in strong sunlight.
Rich data interfaces
USB flash-disk export plus optional Bluetooth make semi-automatic data collection and office processing easy.
